Fundamental analysis is more for long term investment. For intraday trading, it is all about technical analysis. It is all about candlestick pattern, moving cross overs, Fibonacci retracements, Bollinger bands, MACD, etc.

HEY…… Fundamental analysis used for long-term investment which is you can use in trading but not for short term. Fundamental Analysis is the practice of analyzing an asset to determine its intrinsic value of the stock and if you want to trading in BTST OR INTRA DAY you have to go with Technical analysis, Technical analysis is a method of determining the stock’s future price using charts to identify the patterns and trends.

I am both a day trader, a swing trader of options, and a long term investor of stocks and other instruments. Fundamental analysis is a series of information about the overall health of a company from quarter to quarter. It takes a larger, and slower moving, view of a company based on the underlying financial status of it that spans months to years in summary. Is it useful for day trading? Let me say that it can definitely be useful for day trading if you are looking at trading new and different stocks from a day-to-day basis.
