How to decide strategy for any particular trading system?

<p id="isPasted">Its difficult to create a single strategy that can be successful at all times.. mostly because no matter what you do, there will be drawdowns. I believe you should create a combo of strategies and if you mix them up to smooth the equity curve, then there might be something that works most of the time.</p>
