<p id="isPasted">The entire concept of HEDGING, is to manage risk.</p><p>It will always be profitable in that sense.</p><p>You give up some potential profit for certainty. This is true in any market and trading/investing strategy.</p><p>You have to take risk somewhere. The whole idea is identifying risks, and choosing what risks to take, and mitigating those that you do.</p>
