<p id="isPasted">Broker historical data is wrapped in packets, there is only so much for each chart time frame so only the larger time frame stretch back greater distances in time.</p><p>The are 3rd party web sites that do more of the smaller time frame data if you google it, don't know if it's available for mac though.</p>

<p id="isPasted">Ya, you can surely view historic charts with a 5-minute time frame in MT4 by first downloading the historical data for that time frame using the History Center, then applying the downloaded data to your chart. Navigate to Tools > History Center, select the currency pair, choose the desired time frame, and click Download to fetch the data and view it on your chart. </p><p><br></p>
