While talking about Forex lot sizes, it should also be noted that the micro lot is among the smallest Forex lot sizes, equivalent to 1,000 units of the trader's currency. The Micro lot in USD trading reflects the concept that the investor buys or sells $1000. As a result, it is predictable that 10 micro lots equal the same as one mini lot with 10,000 currency units.
There is nothing like maximum lot size in Trading.

However maximum lot depends on 2 aspects.

Our account equity size &

The exposure limit means leverage offered by brokers. E.g for equity 10,000$ account with leverage 1:100. Maximum exposure offered by broker is 10,00,000 volumes means maximum lot can be 10 standard lots. Each standard lot size volume is 1,00,000.

However it also carries huge risk in profit/loss ratios.

Trading should be approached with 1%-2% risk module as per the equity but never to be traded with maximum lot sizes.

Hope this is enough to understand.

Happy trading,

This varies from broker to broker. There is no such maximum lot size. Like with ICM capital you can trade upto 500 lots. If you are trading on the mt4 platform, you are mostly allowed to trade with a maximum of 100 lots. I am trading with turnkeyforex and I believe in trading with small lot sizes. The more lot sizes you trade would mean you are putting more money at risk which is not actually a wise decision. However, exceptions are always there. We do have traders, risking huge amounts of money at risk and becoming successful too.

A standard lot is one of the most commonly used lot sizes on the Forex lot size chart. It is equivalent to 100,000 units of …
