The strategy tester is just another tool in the tool box. it should be used to quickly gauge the potential of a strategy. But it should be taken with very little faith. There's a lot that can change between a backtest and a live test. If something looks good in the backtester, take it live on a small or demo account for a month or two, and then compare the results.Do not put much weight in the basktest results. I simply use it to filter out ideas for further testing. if it looks good, it gets to move on to a small live test which will provide much more valuable insight. if not, I don't waste my time on it any more.Also, "golden 50%" means nothing. a 50% win rate without further context provides no insight into the quality of the results. The profit factor is a better measure, which yours shows a good value (albeit suspiciously high)
