<p>I was introduced to Options, about a decade ago, as a tool for hedging my market risk (buying put insurance) while also collecting income (selling covered calls) on my equity holdings. That noticeably improved my annual returns and really piqued my interest in learning more advanced Options strategies. I now use different option strategies, depending on market conditions and the time frame I want to be in the market. It's advisable to go through the journey of learning/trading to find your own sweet spot template or strategy.<br></p>
